Programmatic Framework
An integrated approach to alleviating the wellbeing of orphaned and vulnerable children, in partnership with local authorities, faith-based organisations, civil society and the private sector.
CAFU will implement integrated programs that will enable it to achieve its vision while contributing to the realisation of Vision 2040 and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals. The programmatic framework entails CAFU's commitment to improving the wellbeing of orphaned and vulnerable children by complementing the efforts of local authorities, faith-based organisations, civil society institutions and the private sector.
The integrated programmatic framework is organised around three programmatic areas: Livelihoods; Education and Vocational Training; and Protection and Early Childhood Development.
Following the program-based planning approach adopted by the Government of Uganda, these programmatic priorities are integrated and pursued through complementary, coordinated action. CAFU benchmarks proven, innovative solutions for sustainable development, working effectively and efficiently to promote the protection and resilience of orphaned and vulnerable children (OVCs).
