About CAFU
Who We Are
Child Aid Foundation Uganda (CAF-U) is a faith-based humanitarian and development organisation. Its registered headquarters are on the First Floor of Social Security House, Kampala, with a branch office in Muhanga Town Council, Rukiga District. CAF-U is fully registered as a national NGO with the NGO Bureau under the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), registration number 80034819876683.
CAF-U was established with a mission of transforming the lives of vulnerable children and maximising their potential to rise into productive, responsible and resourceful citizens of the nation. Founded by a team of professionals with a passion for improving the wellbeing of orphaned and vulnerable children (OVCs), CAF-U's work is focused on the most disadvantaged.

Education
Recognizing the transformative power of education, CAF-U strives to provide support and opportunities to vulnerable children, enabling them to access quality education.
Vocational Skills
CAF Uganda recognizes the importance of equipping vulnerable children with practical skills that will enable them to secure meaningful employment and become self-reliant.
Sensitize Community
Recognizing the need for widespread awareness and understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable children and their families, CAF-U works to sensitize communities and build strong support networks around every child.
CAF-Uganda Strategic Plan 2023–2027
CAF-U's current strategic plan focuses on households in communities across Northern and Eastern Uganda, regions that have continuously recorded high levels of both monetary and multidimensional poverty.
